The Department of Mathematics has a long and rich history in mathematics education, a nationally acclaimed program in actuarial science, undergraduate and graduate degree programs in mathematics (pure, statistics, actuarial science, P.S.M. and education) and has been recognized for a commitment to teaching. Graduates of these programs are well prepared to enter the professional workplace or continue studies in mathematics.
