I majored in the study of religion and philosophy and now I am the Executive Director of Our Daily Bread, the largest soup kitchen in Cincinnati.
I graduated with a base of knowledge and a passion for justice that has rooted my 20+-year career serving people experiencing homelessness. I have worked in advocacy and direct service and both have drawn on the critical thinking, ethics and communication skills I learned through the study of religion and philosophy. Religion and philosophy help draw the connections between what makes us human. Appreciating this humanity has guided my career and provided me with a meaningful life.
