The UNI Science Education Resource Center (SERC) is a resource center for both UNI students and faculty/staff and K-12 science teachers. The SERC has resources that prepares future and existing science teachers such as print materials like PRAXIS test preparation materials, curriculum and activity books, science standards, science teacher journals & magazines, and pedagogy materials as well as Grades K-8 science kits including those aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). These resources may be checked out just as from a library. Science kits can be reserved by Central Rivers Area Educational Agency (AEA) teachers for classroom use for a small user fee with delivery provided by AEA van service.
