Technology Management at UNI is a unique program that combines applied knowledge with management skills, preparing you for the everyday rigors of a leadership role in manufacturing, transportation, or technology.
You’ll study project management, lean operations and statistical quality control, all while learning effective supervisory principles. In addition, UNI’s unmatched relationships with industry allows you to land summer internships, which often lead to job offers working with top industry partners such as John Deere, Garmin and Collins Aerospace.
World class facilities
The Applied Engineering Building (AEB) is undergoing a $43.9 million dollar renovation which will be ready for the Fall 2023 semester.

The Technology Management program has developed its curriculum utilizing recommendations from a very active advisory board made up of industry professionals. UNI's curriculum is developed by industry - for industry.
Career Outlook
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the career opportunities for students in the Technology Management program at the University of Northern Iowa are expected to increase between 7 & 16% over the next 10 years. This range varies depending on the industry that the student is employed in.
