Meet Mark McAllister, an alumni of the University of Northern Iowa who graduated in 2018 with a degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology and an emphasis in Metal Casting. During his undergrad years, Mark was heavily involved with the American Foundry Society and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, in addition to working part-time at the Metal Casting Center. 

Mark is also currently in the process of pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Northern Iowa. Professionally, Mark works as a Manufacturing Engineer at Caterpillar Inc. Here, he puts the skills and knowledge obtained from his time at UNI to work in his job shaping processes at Caterpillar, making things run smoother, faster, and smarter.
