Jessica Herrmeyer

Jessica Herrmeyer serves as an Identification Specialist with the Migratory Education Program for the Iowa Department of Education. After receiving her bachelor's degree in secondary education and master's degree in Sociology from the University of Northern Iowa, she has spent her career in higher education as an instructor of Sociology and administrator for student success and retention. Jessica is a compassionate educator who has dedicated her career to helping others achieve their goals. As an Iowa native who grew up in a small, agricultural community; she is grateful for the opportunities in her current role to serve children of migratory, agricultural families throughout the state. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and experiencing other cultures.
