As an Identification Specialist for Iowa's Migratory Education Program, Jose Salazar identifies and connects eligible students and families to vital educational resources, services, and support. With a commitment to bridging gaps between families, schools, and community resources, they work to reduce barriers to education that are often incurred from migratory lifestyles. Through advocacy and outreach, they build trust within migratory communities to ensure that mobile students across Iowa excel in and beyond the classroom.
