As an Identification Specialist for the Iowa Migratory Education Program, Jose Salazar identifies and connects eligible students and families to vital educational resources, services, and support. With a commitment to equity and access, they work to bridge the gaps between families, schools, and community resources, often caused by the migratory lifestyle associated with agriculture. Through advocacy and outreach, they build trust within migratory communities to ensure that mobile students across Iowa excel in and beyond the classroom.
