Technology Teaching Minor
It’s the perfect time to start your teaching career
There’s a national need for industrial technology teachers, so adding a minor in Technology Teaching is a perfect way to complement a teaching major. Our Tech Ed is the largest of its kind in Iowa, preparing graduates to teach industrial arts at the high school level.
Coursework includes training in: computer-aided design, automotive, woods, metals and other in-demand areas. You’ll also learn effective curriculum planning, teaching methods, and classroom and lab management – preparing you to be the best teacher possible.
