Ryan Bratturd, a 2012 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, earned his undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology with an emphasis in Metal Casting. Throughout his undergraduate years, Ryan actively contributed to the industry and academic community by participating in the American Foundry Society and the Foundry Education Foundation. He also participated in research during his time at UNI, which has proven to be valuable in the future of manufacturing and metal casting.

Currently, Ryan is furthering his academic pursuits by pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Northern Iowa. As a Manufacturing Project Engineer at Caterpillar, he applies his extensive knowledge and skills to design processes that enhance efficiency, speed, and safety in manufacturing.
