Inner Weather — UNI's student literary and art magazine, run by students — is seeking fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and art for the 2025 issue. Deadline: Monday, Feb. 1

Email your creative work to inner-weather@uni.edu with the genre of your entry (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or art) and the title of your work in the subject line. If submitting in more than one genre, send your work in separate emails for each genre. For written work, please make sure your title appears in both the file and the filename.

Fiction and Creative Nonfiction: 3500-word limit, .docx, .rtf, or .odt
Poetry: 5 poem limit, each poem on a separate page, 12 pages max, .docx, .rtf, or .odt
Creative writing in a language besides English will be considered with an accompanying English translation.
Art: 5 piece limit, traditional art, digital, sculptural (pictures), stills of performance art, and photography—include medium, year, and dimensions—.tiff format, 300dpi. We are looking for cover art to appear in full color. We’re also seeking interior art, which may be converted to B&W for the print issue. All art will be considered for both cover and interior unless you specify otherwise.
