Ph.D., Philosophy, Tulane University
M.A., Applied Philosophy, Bowling Green State University
M.A., Philosophy, Western Michigan University
As a Wilson Ethics Fellow, I regularly teach Business, Ethics, & Society; Ethics for Professional Life; and other Ethics courses. I also teach a variety of upper-level courses related to my research interests, such as Forgiveness & Blame; The Problem of Free Will; and Criminal & Moral Responsibility.
My area of specialization is free will and moral responsibility, and I am particularly interested in questions about responsibility that arise at the intersection of moral, political, and legal philosophy. My recent research has involved applying my views on responsibility to practical domains such as Business Ethics, Technology Ethics, and Biomedical Ethics.
