Eric Lange

Professor Lange came to UNI from Vanderbilt University in Nashville where he worked as Technical Director for three years. He has also worked in such venues as The Alley Theatre in Houston, The Dallas Theatre Center, the Philadelphia Academy of Music and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. His background is in lighting design and theatre technology. Eric served as Department Head of Theatre from 2003 to 2023, during which time the department gained national accreditation, and formed an ongoing relationship with the Iowa Thespians Festival.
