Mark A. Parrott

Originally from House Springs, Missouri, Mark now considers himself an Iowan.

Mark completed his MFA from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. He has taught at Graceland University, Northwest Missouri State University and UNI. Mark has been teaching at UNI for 26 years. His classes are in the Design and Production Emphasis. Mark also serves as Scenic Designer, Lighting Designer, Props Designer and has over 175 designs in his career to date.

Mark is also the Iowa representative of Peerbolte Creative (https://www.peerbolte.com), a theatrical consultation and planning firm serving the Midwest. With PC he has served as a project supervisor and consultant to multiple high school and professional theaters in the region.

For the past twenty-five years, Mark A. Parrott has worked as a designer and taught classes in the Design and Production emphasis at the University of Northern Iowa.
