William Hickman

William Hickman is very proud to serve as head of TheatreUNI. William received his MFA in acting from UCLA, and his BFA in acting/directing from the University of Montevallo. He comes to UNI from Pasadena, CA, where he was the chair of theatre and dance while teaching acting, movement, and script analysis at Pasadena City College. He also taught stage combat at AMDA, Los Angeles and Angeles Prep Academy. His favorite directing credits include Metamorphoses, Cabaret, and She Kills Monsters. William has choreographed fights and performed for numerous theaters including the Lon Chaney Rep, The Porters of Hellsgate, Theatricum Botanicum, and Northern Arizona University. He is a member of Actor's Equity Association and the Society of American Fight Directors. His students have performed in films such as Hillbilly Elegy, Dunkirk, The Blue Beetle, the Television show Shameless and on stage with A Noise Within, Theatricum Botanicum, and The Old Globe.
