Research Interests

Pediatric Feeding Disorders: Bottle feeding/breastfeeding and the development of feeding skills, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants (SOFFI), and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.  

Rehabilitation: Swallowing recovery via neuromodulatory- and exercise-based protocols for survivors of stroke, brain or cervical spinal cord injury, or head/neck cancer. Early intervention and care for persons with Parkinson's disease/ Parkinson's plus syndromes or neurodegenerative disease. Treatment of Aphasia and Apraxia of Speech.
