Education

Dr. Yasuda received a B.S. in physics at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. His graduate work was done at the University Iowa, where he received his Ph.D in theoretical high energy physics in 2006. In his dissertation work, Dr. Yasuda studied the cosmological aspects of the diffeomorphism gravity and its implications to dark matter, dark energy and the inflation of the universe. Dr. Yasuda has been at UNI since 2004

Research Interests

Dr. Yasuda's research interests are in the field of general relativity and quantum field theory, in particular black holes and cosmology. He is also interested in the applications of wavelets in quantum field theory.
