UNI Sustainability and Environmental Faculty Advisory Board
This board facilitates faculty engagement and leadership in the UNI's strategic plan to build a vibrant campus community that is economically sound, environmentally responsible and resilient.
Faculty whose research, teaching, and service touch on at least one of the three pillars of sustainability – social, economic, and environmental aspects of sustainable systems – make up this board.
Advisory Board Objectives:
- Define the goals and mission for interdisciplinary initiatives on sustainability curriculum and community engagement.
- Work with UNI administrators & facility managers to foster and maintain sustainability initiatives across campus, our local and regional communities.
- Broaden ownership across UNI's Sustainability curriculum and provide guidance in managing the Minor and Certificate in Sustainability.
