Careers in Math

Mathematics has applications in almost every professional field, with many students pursuing careers in computer software, business and finance. Others follow their passion to become a mathematics teacher, passing on valuable knowledge to young students, or decide to explore theoretical concepts through a master’s or doctoral program.

Math Education Lab

The Mathematics Education Lab is a resource that is available to students funded by the Department of Mathematics. The purpose of the Mathematics Education Lab is to provide resources for undergraduates, graduates, area teachers, and the Mathematics Department Faculty.

Wright Hall

Free Tutoring

Free tutoring is available to mathematics majors on a drop in basis in the Mathematics Tutoring Lab, located in Wright Hall room 338. Hours are Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
