Why attend Math Day at UNI?

Earn scholarship money

During Math Day at UNI, there will be a math competition to receive at least $1,500 in scholarships (not loans!) for the following academic year. In order to receive one of these scholarships, a student must attend UNI and major in mathematics. We will be awarding this amount to the top five scoring students who participate in testing.

Meet current faculty and students

Student visitors will have a chance to sit in on fun and interesting workshops with our math professors, and see what it’s like to be a math student here at UNI! Parents will have a chance to attend a panel with current students, and hear from the Department of Mathematics head.

Get to know UNI Mathematics better

Throughout the day, both students and parents will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the UNI Department of Mathematics. You can also take part in an optional campus tour at the end of the day, and see our beautiful campus!
