Iowa Secondary Energy Curriculum Project

Did you know that a significant number of Iowa's energy workers will retire in the coming years? That means high-demand career opportunities for science-minded learners.  The Iowa Secondary Energy Curriculum Project (ISEC) has 10 units created specifically for Iowa high school and middle school students. Funded by the Iowa Energy Center, the curriculum is free and easy to download - and it's modular, so you can pick and choose what's best for your classroom.

Each unit aligns with and meets the performance expectations for the NGSS/Iowa Science Standards. Units also meet one engineering standard and include information on careers in the electrical industry.  information on careers in the electrical industry.
