Undergraduate Scholarships
Science education provides scholarships for all UNI secondary science teaching majors including comprehensive secondary science, middle level science, biology, chemistry, earth science and physics teaching majors.
UNI secondary science teaching majors as well as basic science and STEM education minors have access to scholarships specific to their major. Biology, chemistry, earth science, physics, middle level and elementary teaching majors should check for scholarships available from departments for those majors.

You may also be eligible for the TEACH Grant, in which recipients can receive up to $4,000 per year for four years as an undergraduate and two years as a graduate.
To apply for UNI scholarships, complete the following steps:
- UNI Scholarship Application (Due February 15)
- Statement of teaching goals may be asked
- Submit Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) which may be required for the scholarships you apply for (Due February 15)
- Identify UNI faculty and/or staff you may want to use for references
