Creativity at its finest
The Ceramics Lab at UNI is a spacious and well-equipped area that embraces all ways of working with clay and glazes.
Students are encouraged to develop their own concepts for the artwork they wish to create with clay. Ceramic artwork created at UNI ranges from wheel thrown functional pottery to large scale ceramic sculpture.
Students are also able to learn from the many nationally-recognized visiting artists who come to campus. These artists give workshops at UNI demonstrating how they create their artwork and enable students to learn how to become and survive as professional artists.

UNI Gallery of Art
The UNI Gallery of Art, located in Kamerick Art Building, offers students an opportunity to gain experience in the field as an undergraduate. Our students find part-time work assisting with gallery operations, and can intern with the gallery. In addition, our students display their work in exhibitions at the gallery each semester.
