Art History Minor

Explore the history of art and its impact on shaping cultures, philosophies and literatures around the globe

An art history minor is an excellent option for students interested in working at an art museum, cultural institution, or pursuing graduate school.

Art historians are adept critical thinkers, excellent writers, and keen observers. Many of our graduates work in art museums, galleries, and other creative fields. UNI Art History grads are working at museums and cultural institutions around the country, and even abroad.
