Scottish RiteCare Program Schedule

The Scottish RiteCare Early Language Program runs in conjunction with the academic school year at the University of Northern Iowa. The fall semester generally starts in late August and runs to mid-December. The Spring semester typically begins in mid- to late January and runs until late April. An 8-week summer session is offered, depending on family interest. The summer session generally runs from early May to July 4.

The Scottish Rite program is held four mornings per week, Monday through Thursday. The classroom education component is conducted from 9-11:30 a.m. each day for all children. An afternoon session is available for pre-kindergarten aged children, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Individual speech-language treatment sessions are typically scheduled twice per week for each child, either before the classroom period from 8-8:50, or following, from 11:30-12:20 or 2:00-2:50. Individual treatment sessions are scheduled either on Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, according to family preference when possible. The individual treatment sessions may be scheduled at other times of the day or week upon request.
