Environmental Earth Science Minor
Students with an interest in Earth’s environment, particularly water, air and land quality issues, may find valuable knowledge and skills in the Environmental Earth Science minor.
This minor is ideal for students who have a background in biology, chemistry, outdoor recreation, geography, business and public policy. The core content of the physical environment is covered with courses that provide the knowledge students need to quantify and characterize environmental issues, and how they impact society.
Our professors are recipients of numerous local, state and national awards for teaching, scholarship and service.
Students have access to a variety of tools, including real-time weather monitoring equipment, high-tech microscopes, computers with specialized software and more.
Home to the UNI Observatory and Planetarium, students gain hands-on learning experiences in our excellent facilities.
