Discover Your Calling
Discovering More
Undergraduate research is a cornerstone of the UNI experience, and in the College of Humanities, Arts and Sciences, it’s even more so. Through unique undergraduate research experiences, our students have the chance to take their learning beyond the classroom – solving real-world problems.

Building Futures
Community engagement is integral to educating students in the evolving world and allowing for meaningful connections through a variety of programs. We encourage intellectual, social and civic development to create well-rounded graduates ready to succeed at their chosen careers and at life.

Changing Lives
Whether it’s working with students on the spectrum, helping speakers of another language, or working on prairie restoration with farmers around the state, our students are out in the community, making an impact, and serving others.
