Literary Publishing
The Certificate in Literary Publishing emphasizes professional and creative experiences that position students to participate in the field of literary publishing.
Students who are minors in creative writing or professional writing may be particularly interested in this certificate. It also complements majors in English and Communication & Media.
Students in this certificate program have the opportunity to take the Creative Writing Practicum to gain firsthand experience in literary publishing, joining the team at the North American Review, the nation’s oldest literary magazine, which is housed at the University of Northern Iowa.
