Poetry Reading by Anne Myles
Wed. Apr. 10 @ 5:00 PM in Bartlett 1017
UNI English Professor Emerita Anne Myles returns to UNI to read from her award-winning poetry collection, Late Epistle.
In Late Epistle, the winner of the 2022 Sappho's Prize in Poetry from Headmistress Press, Anne Myles offers what Natasha Saje calls "a rare first book, one that radiates all the pleasures of poetry—sound, form, and figurative language, among others—but also one that evidences a life transformed by discovery."
Anne Myles is also the author of What Woman That Was: Poems for Mary Dyer (Final Thursday Press, 2022). Her poems have appeared in numerous journals and have been nominated for multiple Pushcart awards.
This event is sponsored by the North American Review.
