Biology: Teaching Minor

The University of Northern Iowa has a nationally-acclaimed teacher preparation program, and our science education program is no different.

The Biology Teaching minor provides for second endorsement approval by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners and requires a first endorsement approval (major) in another science discipline or general science. This means a Biology Teaching major cannot minor in Biology Teaching.
